The Farm

The Farm

The farm is fully working and family run since 1977, and was organic up until 2010.

The farm has sheep, cows and free range chicken as well as the sheep dog and many cats!

We welcome campers with pets as long as they are looked after.

Read a review from ukcampsite.co.uk:

"This is a site for people who like their campsite to be a field with a view, the essential facilities and nowt else except a friendly welcome. The view is terrific, and there is a hedge which will shelter tents from westerly winds. There is another more sheltered field.

The facilities are two toilet-and-shower units and are modern and clean - don't get the wrong impression because of the utilitarian doors! The showers work well. There are no washing-up or laundry facilities but I didn't find this a problem.

The campsite owners are organic hill farmers so tend to be busy but are friendly and helpful. It is excellent value for money and I'd like to think I'll get back here for a longer stay maybe next year.

The site is only 30 minutes from Barnstaple cycling uphill, 10 minutes down into the town! Handy for the Tarka Trail, Braunton Burrows, etc. Barnstaple pannier market is great and the market cafe has super scones."
